Continuously conduct extensive
research on all elements of writing instruments and explore innovative ways to
develop products that deliver a superior writing experience o
Benchmark own products with the best
in the industry – Indian as well as international and conduct technical
evaluation of products 2.
Product Development o
Prepare the product development briefs
and ensure delivery of all NPD projects as per timelines o
Development of product designs and
prototypes o
Conducting product trials and tests at
manufacturing locations 3.
Product Costing o
Identify opportunities for cost
engineering of products on an ongoing basis o
Develop the product costing sheet for
each approved new product offer 4.
Quality Protocols o
Define quality metrics across relevant
parameters with tolerance limits for each approved new product offer o
Provide guidance, skills and knowledge
to manufacturing partners to enhance efficiency of process and ensuring product
quality
